Winnie Loo is the 1st Malaysian hairstylist who had won the prestigious World Master of Craft when she was conferred the title in year 1997, in New York. Her prestigious award made one of the most notable names and authority in the hairstyling industry of this region. Here in Malaysia, she is the veteran and pioneer of the local fashion, hairstyling and lifestyle industry, namely one of the most respectable figure both in her profession and her annual charitable affairs.
1976 - 1997
Pursued her training in London with Morris Masterclass, Alan International and Vidal Sassoon School of Hairdressing. Awarded the prestigious World Master of the Craft founded by Mr. Jojo Marengo of the Arts & Fashion Group International, New York (1997)
1998
The first Malaysian hairstylist to enter the Malaysian Book of Records.
1999
Open her second chain of high end salon in Mid-Valley Megamall, the biggest outlet by that year.
2001
Appointed as the Creative Ambassador for Schwarzkopf.
2003
- National Record Holder for the first Malaysian to achieve the World Master of The Craft endorsed by Tourism Malaysia on
the 46th Merdeka Day
- Holder of the “Ageless Beauty Award” by Imedeen Plus.
- Awarded the “Best Hairstylist of Malaysia” by MIFA (Malaysia- International Fashion Awards).
2005
Awarded the “Best Hairstylist of Malaysia” by MIFA (Malaysia-International Fashion Awards).
2006
Nominated as one of the recipient of “Fashion Creator Award” by MIFA (Malaysia-International Fashion Awards).
